When window perf makes sense
Window perf works best when the outside message matters and some inside visibility still matters too. It can help cover empty windows, promote a sale, add privacy, or turn street-facing glass into a large branded surface.
The best material depends on the window, lighting, artwork, desired life span, and whether installation is needed. Very detailed text may not read well if it is too small, so design should stay bold and clear.
Common uses
- Storefront advertising and seasonal promotions.
- Restaurant windows, menu promotions, and pickup-area graphics.
- Retail sales windows and product launches.
- Leasing office windows and apartment promotions.
- Event venue windows, sponsor graphics, and temporary branding.
- Privacy-friendly glass graphics where full coverage is not ideal.
What to check before printing
Measure the glass area, note whether the graphic goes inside or outside, send a straight-on photo, and confirm if the window has mullions, door handles, locks, tint, or other obstructions. If the window was recently painted or coated nearby, installation timing may matter.
For large graphics, Brandon can help check resolution, scale, bleed, paneling, and whether the design will read from the sidewalk or street.
What to send for a quote
Send window width and height, number of windows, photos, artwork, install address if needed, and deadline. If you are unsure whether window perf is right, send the goal and Brandon can suggest a practical option.
