Common form projects
Most carbonless form jobs start with a practical business need, not a design project.
- Invoice books
- Work order forms
- Service tickets
- Delivery forms
- Repair forms
- Maintenance forms
- Inspection forms
- Estimate forms
- Receipt books
- Rental check-in forms
- Jobsite forms
If you already have an old form, Brandon can usually use it as a starting point and help you decide what should change before reprinting.
2-part or 3-part forms
The number of parts depends on who needs a copy.
- 2-part forms are common when the customer gets one copy and your office keeps one copy.
- 3-part forms are useful when the customer, office, and technician or accounting team each need a copy.
- Some teams need books so forms stay together in the field.
- Some teams only need padded sets for office or counter use.
Numbering, padding, and books
Numbering helps track jobs, invoices, deliveries, and service calls. Padding keeps loose sets together. Books are useful when crews carry forms in trucks or tool bags.
Tell Brandon whether you need individual sets, pads, or books. Also send the starting number if the forms need to continue from a previous run.
Black-and-white can be the right choice
Not every form needs full color. For many work orders and invoices, clear black-and-white printing is the practical option because crews need to write on the form and read it quickly.
If color branding helps, that can be priced too. If the goal is a clean, affordable field form, black-and-white may be the better fit.
Possible 1-day turnaround
Some invoice books and work order forms can be done in 1 day when the job qualifies.
That depends on the file, quantity, number of parts, numbering, padding or book requirements, proof approval, and whether the paper needed is available. Send the form first and Brandon can tell you what is realistic.
