Austin Asian American Film Festival Printing

Posters, sponsor signs, postcards, programs, table materials, and event graphics for filmmakers, sponsors, and community partners.

AAAFF print help: posters, sponsor boards, postcards, programs, table covers, and screening signs.

Film festival print has to work in the lobby, at the table, and after the screening.

Film festivals move quickly. Lineups get finalized, sponsors get added, screening times shift, and filmmakers often need materials close to the event.

Brandon helps sponsors, filmmakers, community partners, and event teams decide what can be printed cleanly and what needs to be simplified to make the deadline.

This planning page is for print buyers preparing around Austin Asian American Film Festival. Austin Signs & Print / Brandon Greene is not the event organizer.

Good pieces for film festival teams

Most festival print lists are a mix of visibility, wayfinding, sponsor recognition, and small handouts.

For filmmakers

Filmmakers may need posters, postcards, small table signs, press handouts, or QR cards that point to trailers, websites, or screening information.

If the file came from a designer, send the final PDF. If it came from a poster image or social graphic, Brandon can check whether it is actually high enough resolution to print cleanly.

For sponsors and community partners

Sponsor print should be easy to see without cluttering the event. A clean table cover, small sign, QR card, and short handout can be more useful than too many pieces competing for attention.

Rush printing before screenings

Rush options may be possible when the job qualifies. The biggest issues are usually missing bleed, low resolution images, unclear sizes, late sponsor logo changes, and QR codes that have not been tested.

Send the screening date, pickup or delivery need, final size, quantity, and files. Brandon can help decide what is realistic.

Color and photo files

Film artwork often includes dark backgrounds, gradients, and photography. Brandon can check the file for resolution, trim size, bleed, color setup, and whether important type is too close to the edge.

What to send Brandon first

Send the event name, event date, setup deadline, delivery location, booth or table number, quantities, sizes, and any artwork you already have. If you have an exhibitor packet, sponsor kit, restaurant guide, or venue delivery instructions, send that too.

Brandon can check the files for size, bleed, resolution, missing elements, color setup, and QR code problems. The goal is either to flag issues early or get to “No problems found” before the job hits production.

Ask before you order

Get with Brandon before the event deadline gets tight

Event print lists change. Booth sizes get revised. Logos show up low resolution. Sponsors get added late. Brandon helps sort what can move fast, what needs more time, and what should be simplified so the job still works.
